Removal goods insurance: UMVS insurance, basic liability and additional insurance
When transporting removal goods, insurance cover is provided in accordance with the provisions of the Road Haulage Act (GüKG) § 7a against all damages for which the removal forwarder can be claimed and is liable in accordance with the fourth section of the Commercial Code §§ 407 ff as well as in accordance with: "Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road" CMR for transported and stored removal goods on the basis of a transport contract concluded with the client.
TESU Removals Irland provides comprehensive information about UMVS basic carrier liability, which is already included in the transport price, as well as the possibilities of desired additional insurances. The basic freight forwarder's liability does not cover damages caused by third parties. Additional insurance can be arranged through us upon request.
